Description
Anyone who uses or processes personal data has a responsibility to keep it safe. You may not appreciate how widely the rules apply. This course will give you an understanding of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and show you how to apply it in a practical way in the workplace.
We will look at the types of information that are categorised as personal data, the principles of data protection and some practical examples on how you need to keep data safe in the workplace.
At the end of the course there will be a multiple choice question test, you will have two attempts at passing the test and the pass mark is 80%. A certificate of completion can be downloaded once the test is passed.

This course is for those who wish to effectively keep data safe. Data that is collected, processed and stored needs to be kept in a safe and secure manner – and this course gives the rules and regulations that need to be followed and also how to apply them in a practical way, to ensure that you comply with the regulations in your everyday working life.
